Working From Home-12

I didn’t realize that changing the way people work was such a big deal to everyone in our world. When I see nothing wrong in Mayer’s decision to have her employees come into the office to do their work. As a CEO of a major company you are going to have make hard decisions and not everyone is going to like them, but that’s part of your job. I’m sure this is inconvenient for the people who were working from home, but wouldn’t working at home all the time be boring. I am such a people person and from my viewpoint, I would rather be in an office all day with human interaction. Working from home seems like the boring yet easier choice to make. Relating it to some of our previous writing exercises, we can see how technology has become something powerful. It’s taken office jobs and made it possible to work in the comfort of your home. It is also a huge distraction. I wasn’t able to make it to class today so I am writing this post in my room. As I am sitting here there are distractions all around me. I’m not saying that there wouldn’t be distractions in your office but they would be more work related distractions and you’d be in the working mindset. Being at work and being at home are two totally different things and I prefer to keep them separated at times.
